Serving Britain’s shoppers a little better every day...that's our core purpose, and that's what we pride ourselves on here in the Customer Engagement Centres. We're on hand to sort out all manner of queries that our shoppers might have – anything from Tesco Direct products, Clubcard, Online queries or the quality of Customer Service in our stores - we have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of what we offer our customers.

The Safety, Security and Resilience team supports the business by proactively identifying, assessing and prioritising risks. Once a risk is identified, the team supports the business by using risk models to determine the probability and impact of an incident. We then look at how we can reduce Tesco’s exposure to the risk and develop new approaches to overcome this.

Business Support provides a market-leading service for our colleagues and customers. We have six teams that that link between our stores and our office; Food Operations, General Merchandise Operations, Planning and Response, Shrink, Security and Safety, Customer Service, Operating Model. Within each team we focus on operational excellence and change innovation. Our work is all about improving the experience for customers and colleagues.

We need Administrators and Personal Assistants (PA) in every department of our business. Wherever you want to get on, you'll find a role that appeals to you. If that’s fashion, you might like to work in our clothing business. If you’re more interested in science, you could work in our Trading Law and Technical teams. And different teams need different skills, too. If coordinating international events appeals to you, you might be well suited to a job in our Group Communications or Marketing team.

Our campus sits just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Welwyn Garden city with its many shops, restaurants, pubs and sports facilities. Close to the A1 and with frequent trains running to Kings Cross in as little as 26 minutes (free shuttle buses take you between the station and office) the campus is well connected to the surrounding area.
