Trade Planning Assistant - Fresh - Parental Leave Cover - 9 months

You will support with building a winning trade plan based on customer insight and analytical data! Delivering a great proposition for our customers and Tesco, proactively handling risks and issues by suggesting solutions and recommendations.

• Understand the drivers of performance through sound analytics and use this to build recommendations
• Applying insight and customer understanding to the Events programme to support space optimisation, sales and customer perception.
• Communicating and owning delivery of the critical path, prioritising promotions and ranges based on customer needs and calendar themes.
• Escalate risks or issues to your Manager in a timely fashion.
• Prepare trade summaries and sign off packs
• Develop the relationship with Retail, Product, Customer and SRM
• Being an expert on competitors promotions and events across all channels. Using store visits, insight and research
• Owning the review highlighting trends and make recommendations on improvements by channel
• Support your Manager with daily tasks and running of the trade plan.
• Adhering to all Tesco Policies, storage and hand over protocols and successfully completing all required training.
