Trade Planning Assistant - Fresh - Parental Leave Cover - 9 months

You will support your manager to manage the trade plan and feature space across your product division which includes Meat, Fish & Poultry, Bakery, Frozen, Chilled and Produce. You will also be involved with working across packaged categories including Beers, Wines & Spirits, helping to deliver a great promotional proposition for customers and maximise the sales in the division.

• Applying insight and customer understanding to feature space planning to support space optimization, sales and customer perception.
• Championing the feature space principles to ensure all trade activity meets the relevant criteria delivering simpler promotions for customers
• Being an expert on competitors Promotions and Events across all channels.
• Collating data to support analysis and review of promotion and space performance, looking for trends and making recommendations for improving the business including the promotion launch reports
• Supporting your manager to develop a strategy for feature space driving change and innovation
• Contributing to ad-hoc cross functional projects, under direction of your line manager
• Owning the feature space plan for Integrals and Finest Showcase
• Owning the POS plan for all Fresh feature space
• Following the Business Code of Conduct, always acting with integrity and due diligence
• Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and hand over protocols, successfully completing all required training
