About the role

The Online Trading Manager will be responsible for managing on-site content and the customer journey to make shopping third parties on Tesco GHS compelling for customers and deliver profitable growth.

You will be responsible for

  • Delivery of the onsite trade plan and customer journey, building relationships with third parties to achieve a robust, relevant and engaging trade plan, co-ordinating with the GHS trade team, design, and publishing teams.
  • Manage trade performance including understanding and improving the overall user experience (e.g. search, browse, trade and inspirational content, trading tools) and driving continuous improvement of trade, seasonal activities, and campaign execution
  • Managing the planning and execution of content changes with third parties building and developing relationships with key third parties
  • Work collaboratively with our Marketing team to monitor, refine and improve any marketing campaigns
  • Link with third parties to define and activate marketing campaigns providing value to both our suppliers, customers and Tesco
  • Manage Dunnhumby stakeholder relationship for trade media and work closely with Tesco media teams and third parties with the objective to drive media revenue
  • Working cross-functionally with teams to ensure quality and timely publishing of high quality content to support trade and brand strategies.
  • Working closely with the operations and search and browse team to ensure products are in the correct place and customers can discover third party content, maximising traffic and driving SEO improvements
  • Developing and managing collaborative relationships with digital product and technology teams to drive capability improvements for trade and content delivery.
  • Manage the planning and delivery of a continuous range of A/B tests to feed into future content plans and strategies, as well as continuous improvement.
  • Working with Online Trading team to manage, plan and optimise content space on Tesco.com, using data to build insight and recommendations in order to trade owned space as effectively as possible.
  • Managing and developing Trade Executive giving them the opportunities to be their best.
