About the role

Tesco NI are currently seeking to appoint a Technical Assistant in our Trading Law & Technical department. The role will be to assist the Technical Team through the development and tracking of key performance indicators and new product data.

You will be responsible for

  • Producing accurate and useable key performance indicator data.
  • Managing counter tickets for the technical managers
  • Sending out clear and simple communication to managers.
  • Assisting suppliers.
  • Tracking & Supporting with local suppliers.
  • Raising POs for the technical team
  • Providing accurate timely data to the business.
  • Challenging the team to make things simpler for stores.
  • Tracking all time related tasks so that they are completed on time.
  • Managing the complaints responses and platform for the team.

You will need

  • Relevant third level degree (Food Science or similar)
  • Experience of previous administrative work in a similar role
  • Keen interest in progressing to Technical Manager Level
  • IT Skills – specifically MS Excel, Word & Powerpoint;
