About the role

As a Web Content Publisher at Tesco you will be key in ensuring that the management and publishing of assets, pages, components and any new features to support online trading are to the highest standard and completed optimally. You will work on many campaigns and propositions - ensuring standard process adhered to and continuous improvement of the online experience.

You will be responsible for

  • Building web pages, meeting standards & adheres to responsive guidelines where necessary.
  • Modify image or text assets to respond to business needs and user-experience improvement opportunities.
  • Quality assurance, testing and validation of work.
  • Presenting & collaborating effectively with the team, managing collaborators on timings, issues & dependencies.
  • Working closely with Online trade and content teams to deliver accurate and engaging content.
  • Being passionate about online experiences and keeping up-to-date with new trends in the market.
  • Excellent attention to detail and maintains high standards of quality and efficiency in all work.
  • Reviewing own work and others to continuously improve on the Online customer experience.
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.

You will need

Key Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of CMS, web code, design techniques for cross-browser / platform / device
  • Responsive design & touch screen principles
  • Knowledge of AA W3C and WAI current standards
  • Crafting & editing templates for CMS / web dev framework (Magnolia would be advantageous)
  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines
  • Defect resolution & problem-solving skills.
  • Worked within a creative team
