Supporting refugees to become colleagues at Tesco

At Tesco, inclusion means that Everyone’s Welcome

During times of unrest refugees who have fled their homes may try to find safety in other countries after experiencing great hardship. We are offering a recruitment process that is simple and supportive for any refugee that applies for a role with us. At Tesco, we treat people how they want to be treated and we are committed to supporting refugees to access jobs and opportunities at Tesco.

Making an application & additional support:

Starting a new role should be an easy experience for everyone. All roles at Tesco are available to apply for online. We understand that making a job application as a refugee can be difficult. That’s why we have an email address set up for support if required when making a job application: tescojobs@tesco.com.

We also have an accessibility tool plugged-in to our career’s website called Recite Me that provides candidates with language translation options for those who speak English as a second language as well as help for the visually impaired, disabled, and neurodiverse. This can be found at the top of this page by clicking on Accessibility and selecting the drop-down option “toolbar (reciteme)”. The toolbar will appear to help personalise the careers website to everyone’s own personal needs.

Successful applicants will need a UK bank account and a valid Right to Work document for the United Kingdom.  For a full list of our frequently asked questions, please click here.

We have a number of vacancies across our office, stores and distribution centres that you can search for above as well as with our partner businesses, Booker and OneStop.
