Working in Distribution

A store is only as good as the stock on its shelves. It’s essential that our distribution network is as good as it can be, because anything less than perfect means unhappy customers.

Fortunately, as leaders in logistics management, we are up to the task. Using the latest technology, we transport 60 million cases of goods to 3,000 stores every week.

Expect a little more

If you're prepared to go the extra mile for our customers, you can expect more of what you need with Tesco. More opportunities to develop valuable skills. More scope to make a valuable contribution. More ways to get on in your career. The list goes on and on.

For us, "Every little helps" is much more than just a slogan. It's what we all work towards every day. Across the business, we're all committed to doing more for our customers, communities and each other. It's this upbeat, collaborative culture that makes Tesco such a special place to work.

We offer all kinds of great benefits. From a retirement savings plan to our colleague discount (10% discount after six months' service), there’s lots to gained by being part of the Tesco team.

Since we introduced our Tesco values over 10 years ago, they have become a key part of our culture, growth and success. They influence how we work together and make sure that customers are at the centre of what we do. Our three values guide how we offer brilliant little differences for customers, colleagues and communities.

  • No one tries harder for customers
  • We treat everyone how they want to be treated
  • Every little help makes a big difference

All of this makes for a culture where you'll feel respected, trusted and empowered to do your best for our customers. In return, you can count on your hard work to be recognised and rewarded. And you'll have the freedom and support to develop your career in a way that best suits you.

Equality, diversity and inclusion are really important to us at Tesco. We aim to build great teams that reflect our local communities, so we can provide the best possible service to our customers. And that means recruiting people from the widest possible talent pool. Put simply, everyone is welcome at Tesco.

In a business full of varied opportunities, you'll have everything you need to create a career path that meets your own personal goals and aspirations.
